August 27th

We are still working on introducing all of our routines and songs as well as getting to know our teachers and friends. It is amazing how quickly these wonderful little people get into the grove of new things.

Our plans for this week include:

*Taking individual pictures 

*Painting a blue picture frame 

*Free choice painting

*Cutting and gluing to make a bumble bee for our class board

*Jumping ON and OFF blue "puddles"

*Stamping #1's and squares

*Finding blue items in the room

*Walking into the new building to play in the commons

*Playing musical instruments

Check out our hive when tomorrow, the bees have been busy

During snack time we "do our boards".  We learn about the color, number and shape we are studying this month that are shown on the bulletin boards.  We also dress Weather Bear to go outside

Playing in the commons

 We started filling our hive (bulletin board) with bumble bees this morning.  Singing, "I'm bringing home a baby bumble bee" always brings lots of smiles. We even sang it while playing instruments during music time today.
