February 17th

This week during Jesus time we are learning about Zacchaeus.
Ask us to sing the story of Zacchaeus:
Zacchaeus was a wee little man, a wee little man was he.
He climbed up in a sycamore tree for the Lord he wanted to see.
And as the Savior past that way He looked up in the tree.
He said, "Zacchaeus, you come down. For I'm going to your house today."

Jesus loved Zacchaeus even though Zacchaeus thought he was unlovable. Jesus loves us too, even when we make bad choices. He loves and forgives us.

Here are some of the activities planned for this week:
*Painting trees for Zacchaeus
*Mixing red and white paint to make pink
*Cutting pink paper
*Coloring and gluing feather to make a flamingo
*Letter games using the first letter of our names
*Making a gingerbread man using shapes
*Placing 7 heart stickers on #7
*Stamping and counting to 7

Enjoy our day in pictures:

Today we took a walk around campus after our time in the commons to enjoy some fresh air. One of our friends said, "It's so nice out!"
