Summer Camp's Early Childhood Page

June 1-5

This week's Bible story focused on Joshua and the wall of Jericho.

The children heard the story read to them by their teacher's, acted out the story and made horns to blow as the marched around the "walls".

In preparations for Father's Day the children had the opportunity to make gifts for their father's (painting, cards and bookmarks)

Gardening was our theme this week. We read stories about how things grow and painted or colored pictures of plants and flowers and talked about God's creations.

Thursday's rain spoiled our plans to plant our own garden, we will add that to our plans for next week.
