March 24th
This week's Bible story can be found in Matthew, Mark and Luke.
Taken from Read and Share Bible:
Jesus prays for help
Jesus and His followers went straight from dinner to a quiet grade. Jesus wanted to pray and ask God to make Him strong for what was about to happen. He took three of His closest followers- Peter, James, and John- with Him. Jesus asked them to wait and pray.
He went a little farther into the garden so that He could pray by Himself. It was very late, and the three men were very tired. They couldn't keep their eyes open to pray. Soon they were asleep. Jesus woke them twice, but they went back to sleep each time.
When we have tough things ahead of us, we need to pray and ask God to help us.
These are a few of the activities planned for this week:
*Painting yellow ducks
*Coloring Jesus praying, children praying
*Tracing dot to dot praying hands
*Decorating praying hands
*Learning about the letter U
*Working in our ABC books
*Dot to dot rectangles
*Stamping yellow rectangles on #8
*Sorting colored bears
*Lacing Easter Eggs
Check out the fun we had today:

This morning we attended a short remembrance service for our friend Drew who was called to his heavenly home one year ago today.
The preschoolers rang bells to Jesus Loves Me
then the whole school sang together
After the service (10 minutes) we gathered with our 8th grade buddies and blow bubbles to Drew in heaven (in the Welcome Center due to the rain)

Please keep Drew's family in your prayers.
