February 10th

Jesus blesses children
Luke 18:15-17

People loved to bring their children to Jesus for Him to bless them. Jesus welcomed them with open arms.
But Jesus' disciples thought He had more important things to do than talk to children.
"Don't bother Him with the children," they said to the mothers and fathers. Jesus overheard them and became angry.
"Let the children come to Me!" He said. "Don't try to stop them!"
"My kingdom belongs to people who are like these children. You will never enter God's kingdom if you don't enter it like a child."

This week we are celebrating Valentine's day all week with special activities and sharing examples of how we show God's love to others.

Here are a few of the activities planned for this week:
*Creating with pink play doh
*Painting pictures of Jesus and the children
*Making spin art hearts
*Working large muscles playing a bean bag game
*Making Valentine's cards for our family
*Lacing noodle necklaces
*Sorting large and small hearts
*Using paint daubers on a large heart
*Placing tissue paper on contact paper for a room decoration
*Decorating wooden "children" for our Jesus time board
