October 22nd
This is our final week with Noah and his family.
God Keeps Us Safe
The Rainbow
Genesis 8:18-22, 9:1-17
When everyone was out of the boat, Noah built an altar. He thanked God for keeping them safe. Then something wonderful happened! God put a beautiful rainbow in the sky and made Noah a promise. "it will never flood over the whole earth like that again," God said. When God makes a promise, He keeps it.
Here are a few of the activities planned for this week:
*Painting small, medium and large circles
*Stamping and counting 3 jack-o-lanterns
*Using stickers to make funny jack-o-lantern faces
*Gluing color paper to make a fall tree
*Making rainbows (Using: cereal, paper, paint)
*Using textures to make acorns and squirrels
*Learning about the letter F
*Decorating craft pumpkins with Mr. Potato Head pieces
*Making a class pumpkin patch
*Matching bear game

Some day I will get to the top too! |
We had a fun day today in PDO. This morning we practiced an earthquake drill. We decided that the tables in our classroom are really low and the teachers barely fit under them :)
