Happy Monday

August 25th

This is our first Monday and full week of school.  We are still working on introducing all of our routines and songs as well as getting to know our teachers and friends.

Our plans for this week include:

*Taking individual pictures 

*Painting a blue picture frame 

*Free choice painting

*Cutting and gluing to make a bumble bee for our class board

*Jumping ON and OFF blue "puddles"

*Stamping #1's and squares

*Finding blue items in the room

*Walking into the new building to play in the commons

*Playing musical instruments

Tunnels, balls, hoops and music made play time in the cool commons a blast

With the extreme heat expected today we played outside for a very short time this morning enjoying the water table.  We then walked through the new early childhood building to reach the commons.  We had a great time running and playing in this wonderful air conditioned space.
