August 26th

We are still working on introducing all of our routines and songs as well as getting to know our teachers and friends. It is amazing how quickly these wonderful little people get into the grove of new things.

Our plans for this week include:

*Taking individual pictures 

*Painting a blue picture frame 

*Free choice painting

*Cutting and gluing to make a bumble bee for our class board

*Jumping ON and OFF blue "puddles"

*Stamping #1's and squares

*Finding blue items in the room

*Walking into the new building to play in the commons

*Playing musical instruments

Today we read, "Pete the Cat, I love my white shoes" then began decorating our own book using markers

We spent 10 minutes outside this morning

Music time

The extra hot weather isn't slowing us down.  We had tons of fun today playing with new friends. We love Pete the Cat. Watch for his books in our monthly book orders, your children will thank you (well, maybe not) but you will make them happy ;) Next week we will begin learning the story of creation. This week we are working on learning the hand motions to "Jesus loves me".
